It's possible that the number of ESV verses quoted will eventually exceed the thousand that they explicitly permit. [In fact, it may in fact do so by now; I've not been counting.] Still, the legal doctrine of fair use does not actually specify any such limit, and scholarly criticism of the Bible is clearly an exemplar of the appropriate and fair use of copyrighted material.

Naturally, you can quote my website within reasonable fair use limits yourself.
